A couple and their two children move to the island of Ibiza after ten years living in Barcelona. Their new home is located in the residential neighbourhood of Can Misses, in the city of Ibiza, close to the historic centre.The building, constructed in 1990, forms part of a garden community with different types of through-apartments arranged in a V-shaped layout, allowing abundant natural light and ventilation to enter. This Mediterranean light was precisely what we wanted to capture and bring into every corner of the home; therefore, light and continuous materials were chosen. White dominates the entire house as a defining colour of the island, and microcement unifies the entire flooring. Una parella amb els seus dos fills es trasllada a viure a l’illa d’Eivissa després de deu anys residint a Barcelona. El nou habitatge se situa al barri residencial de Can Misses, a la ciutat d’Eivissa, a prop del centre històric.L’edifici, construït el 1990, forma part d’una comunitat enjardinada amb diferents tipologies d’habitatges passants que adopten una forma de V en planta, permetent així una entrada generosa de llum natural i ventilació. Aquesta llum mediterrània era precisament la que volíem capturar i transportar fins a l’últim racó de la llar; per això es va optar per materials clars i continus. El blanc domina tota la casa com a color identitari de l’illa, i el microciment unifica tot el paviment.
